I took a Coleman 2 man mummy style tent that I have had for years and still is going strong, a trangia muti fuel cooker with kettle, plates, cutlery etc. hammock, tarpaulin, water carrier and some other bits and pieces.
The only thing I should have taken was the tent, a simple burner, a single pot and my camping knife.
Although I did use the trangia, most of the time food was readily available. I could have easily managed without it. Boiling water is all I really needed to do.
The hammock was never used, the tarp used only once as a sun shelter, I could have used the tent instead.
All in all most of my left hand pannier contents and half of one of the waterproof bags on the top of the panniers could have been left behind.
