Day 45: Packed and ready to go

The bike is packed and I am ready to move north tomorrow. I plan to move quickly with the goal of getting as many kilometres ìn as I can by the end of the day.

I picked up my passport this morning complete with a freshly minted Sierra Leone Visa stamp. This was the last hurdle to moving on. I then went to a garage and the bike had a good wash.

I have enjoyed my time in Ghana, the people are so friendly and welcoming. I have not once felt threatened while here. Even the police are chatty and curious rather than serious and suspicious as in many other countries.
Definitely this is a country on the “i will be back” list.
